| GRAS - Generally Regarded as Safe |

| Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) is a United States of America Food and Drug Administration (FDA) designation that a chemical or substance added to food is considered safe by experts, and so is exempted from the usual Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) food additive tolerance requirements. GRAS exemptions are granted for substances that are generally recognized, among experts qualified by scientific training and experience to evaluate their safety, as having been adequately shown through scientific procedures (or, in the case of a substance used in food prior to January 1, 1958, through either scientific procedures or through experience based on common use in food) to be safe under the conditions of their intended use. |

| NASC - National Animal Supplement Council |

| We are members of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). The NASC is an industry group dedicated to protecting and enhancing the health of horses and companion animals throughout the United States. Founded in 2001, NASC Members are manufacturers of animal supplements who are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality in the industry today. |

| Representing the majority of the industry in the US, NASC members have agreed to: |
|
- Cooperatively develop and implement consistent standards for quality and production process control
- Develop and implement a National Adverse Event Reporting System
- Form a Scientific Advisory Panel, consisting of recognized experts
- Educate, develop and implement consistent labeling guidelines
|
| Our first NASC audit is soon to be completed. Once we have passed the audit, our products will also carry the NASC seal. Meanwhile, we carefully follow the quality control, adverse event reporting and label compliance guidelines of the NASC. |

| OMRI - Organic Materials Review Institute |
